Mild tremors felt in parts of city
Dwellers in parts of Landhi, Korangi, Malir, and adjoining areas of the city felt mild tremors on Thursday.
The Meteorological Department recorded the intensity at 2.5 on the Richter scale that were felt at 11:27am.
Meanwhile, Chief Meteorologist in Karachi, Muhammad Riaz said that while there was rain forecast for parts of the upcountry the weather in Karachi on Friday was expected to remain partly cloudy with minimal chance of light drizzle. On Thursday, the weather remained cloudy during some parts of the day.
The Met office recorded 14 degree Centigrade and 28.3 degree C minimum and mercury-levels respectively with 61 per cent humidity. The Met office has forecast partly cloudy weather with cool night for Friday with minimum temperature expected to range from 12 degree Celsius to 14 degree C.
